– Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and define quality goals.
– Perform functional, exploratory, usability, regression, and system testing.
– Identify, log, and track bugs to resolution using issue-tracking tools.
– Validate user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements.
– Design, build, and maintain robust, reusable, and scalable test automation frameworks.
– Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium
– Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent and repeatable testing.
– Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
– Mentor and guide junior QA team members, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
– Participate in design and code reviews, providing feedback from a QA perspective.
– Analyze testing outcomes and provide comprehensive test reports to stakeholders.
– Monitor quality metrics and propose solutions for improving product quality and testing efficiency.
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
– 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with a strong focus on both manual and automation testing.
– Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
– Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle (STLC).
– Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum or Kanban.
– Familiarity with version control tools like Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
– Hands-on experience with API testing and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
– Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
– Experience with cross-browser testing tools.
– Familiarity with accessibility and security testing techniques.
