– Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and document business requirements, use cases, and functional/non-functional specifications.
– Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements for the development team.
– Conduct gap analyses to identify areas for improvement in existing systems or processes.
– Develop user stories, workflows, and process diagrams to clearly articulate requirements.
– Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
– Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews to gather requirements and align on project objectives.
– Ensure stakeholders’ needs are prioritized and incorporated into project deliverables.
– Communicate project updates, risks, and milestones effectively to stakeholders.
– Work closely with development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented accurately.
– Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups as part of an Agile development process.
– Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) by defining test cases, scenarios, and supporting defect resolution.
– Review and validate software deliverables against requirements to ensure quality and alignment.
– Maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents, functional requirement specifications, and user manuals.
– Leverage data analytics to support decision-making and provide insights into project performance.
– Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for optimization based on data-driven insights.
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
– 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a software development or IT environment.
– Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
– Expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello).
– Proficiency in business process modeling tools (e.g., draw.io, Visio, Lucidchart…).
– Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, or Power BI.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
– Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, Balsamiq).
– Experience with MarTech softwares.
– Knowledge of API integrations and system interoperability.
